James T. Washington


As President of Washington Enterprises, Inc., Mr. James T. Washington has guided the company through the vastly diverse insurance industry into the 21st century.  He uses his experience of over 20 years to develop strategies that assist clients in growth and success.  Mr. Washington began his career as a full-service consultant assisting in sales and service of small groups. He then was quickly promoted to oversee midsize and large groups. He has developed plans to assist in reviewing claims, in service administration, and to reduce high renewals. Through the years, he has consistently performed as broker with private, public and non-profit clientele in the areas of contract renewals, proposal creations and labor negotiations.

His Business Management degree from the Ohio State University and his 4 years of service with The United States Air Force played a major role in the development of his strong leadership qualities.  Mr. Washington implemented strategic planning, which has advanced the company’s mission and objectives and in turn promoted revenue, profitability and growth.

Hinkai "Heinz" Yee

Vice President

Mr. Yee coordinates specific projects for both public and private groups, which includes marketing, special services and account management.  He is the developer of Washington Enterprises, Inc.’s current wellness programming, as well as its business incentive-based programs.  Mr. Yee double-majored in Logistics and Business Management and earned a Masters in Human Resource Management from John Carroll University.

Since joining Washington Enterprises, Inc., he has made great strides and has quickly become a manager. He currently manages several large accounts and assists them in maintaining single-digit renewals, implementing wellness programs and establishing new company policies.

Terri Dillard

Office Manager/Consultant

Terri has over 30 years of professional experience in various marketing, healthcare and administrative positions.  Her excellent organization and customer service skills help to manage and maintain the smooth running of both the Cleveland and Columbus Washington Enterprises, Inc. locations.

Terri is a Licensed Insurance Agent, with access to over 40 lines of coverage, and is responsible for managing Individual, Group and Personal Lines Insurance as well as overseeing office operations.

Terri has a B.S Degree in Biology from Baldwin-Wallace University, an Advanced Medical Esthetician License, and is also a Notary Public.

Laura Poland


Poland, an Ohio State University graduate, has been a registered, licensed dietitian/nutritionist for over 26 years. After planning, developing and administering a nutrition-based practice, The Rite Bite, Laura now owns her own practice Dietitian In Your Kitchen, est. 2014. Poland works as a private practice dietitian accepting insurance clients and loves to develop custom wellness programs for employee wellness initiatives.

Cynthia Greene

Atlanta, Georgia / Consultant

Cynthia Greene has given birth to her own entrepreneurial venture as the owner and director of Peachtree DUI & Defensive Driving School in Atlanta Georgia. As a full time, hands on mother, Cynthia has found balance in founding her company as well as birth her vision as a business owner. Cynthia’s actual dream has always been to own her own independent insurance agency, a business that could be passed on to her children and provide a system of wealth for our family’s future generations. Cynthia’s motto has always been to do my best at serving my community. Cynthia attended Dekalb College and obtained her P&C license in 1999 to which she signed surety bonds for Jet Bonding Company. Cynthia has since obtained her LAS certification to broaden her horizons in the Insurance Industry.

Herbert W. Greene

Atlanta, Georgia / Chief Executive Officer

For more than 35 years, Herbert W. Greene, Jr. has worked extensively in the surety and risk management industry.  Herbert gained volumes of knowledge serving in several senior management positions while partnering with some of the largest surety providers.  He is the current CEO of Urban Surburban, Inc. Greene is a strong leader and has fostered a tradition of excellence by leveraging his wide-ranging experience and insight along with his penchant for business innovation to successfully direct the operations, management, and long-term strategic planning for the firm.

His primary responsibilities include soliciting and establishing relationships with companies and forming strong alliances that maximize mutually positive returns.  Herbert works closely with various accountants, bankers, and surety representatives to successfully provide the products his customers need.

Herbert is a native of Atlanta, GA.  He attended Morehouse College and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Finance.  He chaired the Benedita De Silva Foundation and served as Vice Chair of the Westside Development Authority.  Additionally, The Atlanta Tribune Magazine name him “One of the top 10 Power Players in the game of Real Estate” in May 2006.  Greene was also honored in October 2012 by the Unity Network & Counseling Center as “Businessman of the Year” for his work in the community.

Herbert is an avid basketball fan and enjoys spending time working with teenagers as an Assistant Coach for a local Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) basketball team.

J. Christopher Greene

Atlanta, Georgia / President, CEO

J. Christopher Greene, an Atlanta native, began learning the ABCs of business while still in primary school. Both his parents were trailblazers in Georgia’s Surety & Risk management industry; J Christopher has expanded their current businesses to include a thriving real estate development portfolio’s. While in high school, Mr. Greene played a vital role in managing the company’s office expansions, facilities/maintenance, and procurement/acquisition. Mr. Greene’s early exposure to management of  Real Estate & Surety based management firms have given him bountiful experience second to none.

After attending Morehouse College, where he majored in business administration, Mr. Greene worked as a parking attendant for Expert Services. There, he found his niche: “Parking & Transportation Industry.” Since 2002, Mr. Greene has managed operations for several fortune 500 companies, where he continues to foster relationships that have long lasting impact & provide exponential growth & success. Mr. Greene has become a “trailblazer” in his own right.

Mr. Greene’s enthusiasm for business development is equaled by his commitment to community service. He and his firm have managed to rebuild several quality housing developments for low income families to ultimately call home. The “grass roots” program is truly exciting for everyone involved, as the team tackles the homelessness epidemic slowly but surely.
